Mercury Outboard Gearbox 3.0Litre V6 CR Aftermarket - Brand New, replacement for Mercury® 3.0L Outboard Lower Gearbox. Jimmbo, I'm not sure where the intake silencer is so i don't know if there is a decal there. I don't think it takes a week to verify a serial number and I'm sick of his not answering my texts so i'm going to try and get the parts myself cause i will loose half the season waiting for him. Last week I sent him the new numbers that i found on the engine and he told me he would look into it. I had to re assemble it myself to winterize the motor. It sat like that for over a month and he wouldn't keep me updated. He actually left the other parts disconnected while trying to get the right parts. He replace the regulator but couldn't get the other 2 parts because the serial number was missing. I was able to find local mobile mechanic look at it before storing it and he told me he would have to replace the solenoid also the oil alarm was faulty and that the regulator should be replaced because it was looking burnt. The starter would stay engaged after i turned the motor over an the alarm would sound and stay on after a few minutes of running. History: When i bought the boat last fall a few issues came up after a month of use. Thanks for the replies, they're well appreciated. ![]()
